Memphis Three-Day Event To Celebrate Wine, Food, and Music

MEMPHIS (January 11, 2017) – Wine lovers, foodies, and music enthusiasts from all over the region rejoice! Mark your calendars now for the second annual Vintage901 Festival in Memphis March 2-4, 2018.

Vintage901 is a three-day Spring wine festival designed to enhance community experience and cultural awareness for diverse audiences in unique, intentional spaces while featuring the best in artisanal wines, an array of local flavors with a nod to global sensibilities and music that blends the classic and the eclectic.

Each of the three days of this fun, unique gathering will represent its own unique wine experience.

Friday’s Grand Tasting at Crosstown Concourse will entail an evening of wine tastings prepared by Grand Sommelier Laurie Forster, The Wine Coach and food selections from local restauranteurs. Tickets are $65 and will be available at the door.

Saturday’s Perfect Pairings at Memphis College of Art will experience a four-course dinner by award-winning Chef Kelly English of Iris Etc. Catering. Laurie Forster will pair two wines with each course for a dining adventure all guests are sure to enjoy. Tickets are $250 in advance.

Sunday’s Sparkling Brunch at Shelby Farms Park will close the event with a brunch pairing with wines hand-selected by Laurie Forster. Tickets are $85 in advance.

A three-day pass is available for $315 through January 26 with code EARLYPASS and then $375 in advance of the event. Each guest who purchases an early bird three-day pass will receive added exclusive benefits with their ticket.

Vintage901’s Grand Event Sommelier: “The Wine Coach” Laurie Forster is one of America’s leading wine experts and author of the award-winning book The Sipping Point: A Crash Course in Wine. Laurie is a Certified Sommelier, National Speaker and TV personality who is not afraid to tell you her first wine came from a box. Her edgy approach to demystifying wine caught the eye of major networks and led her to guest appearances on Dr. Oz, FOX Morning News, Martha Stewart Living Today and ABC News at Noon.
